Jacque’s place is a lively environment, where people from the entire world mix and mingle with islanders coming down for a go at the waves when surf’s up and Jacque’s friends who often drop by for a chat and may even share a song or two of hot Sega or Seggae music. Jacque is happy to look after his guests and arranges boat tours in and around Tamarin Bay as well as excursions for them. Edouard and Ginette Lagane were native Tamarinians who 40 years ago opened their home to the first visitors of Tamarin: the surfers. Following surfer as well as family tradition, their son has enlarged the place subsequently: today Jacque’s place offers 7 colourfully decorated rooms up on the first floor with views over a tiny but lush garden and Tamarin village.
